All Levels
This class, as the name suggests, is suitable for all levels of practitioners. The teacher will balance the intensity of the class to suit different levels and capabilities.
Hatha Yoga
A class where asanas (postures) are held for an extended period to ensure proper alignment and build strength and flexibility. Hatha yoga uses postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation techniques (dhyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. It is an alignment-oriented practice that emphasizes alignment and breath while entering, holding, and leaving the posture.
Gentle Hatha Yoga
Easy flowing, non-strenuous, less intense, sometimes quiet and meditative class. Great for those stiff mornings and weekend recoveries. For people seeking a restorative session from certain pain, stress, injury or more demanding practice, or just looking for a light workout and balanced stretch.
Sivananda Yoga
A classical and traditional form of hatha yoga, which follows specific and structured sequence. It encourages short regular Savasana (rest) between poses to regulate the mind & body. It uses postures (asanas) and stretches in combination with the breath while holding the poses to develop flexibility and relaxation. It also incorporates at least 10 minutes of pranayama. Sivananda Yoga is excellent for students who appreciate longer holds in individual postures and prefer a slower and more meditative approach to practice (while still reaping the benefits of a physical practice). This class is suitable for all levels of practitioners..
Yin or Restorative
Yin or Restorative yoga is all about slowing down and opening your body mostly through passive stretching. We do just a few postures in the course of 90 minutes, holding each posture for 4-5 minutes. Time, gravity and breath take you deeper in your practice. During the long holds your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It's a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body. Restorative classes are a great complement to more active practices (as well as our busy lives) and an excellent antidote to stress
Advanced Level - For advanced practitioners (by appointment only)
More advanced Hatha Yoga, challenging asana and pranayama, for those who wish to take their practice or even teaching skills further. By pre-booking only.
Yoga for Kids
Yoga for the little ones through fun. Yoga helps improve kids' memory, concentration, focus and promotes personality development.
